Candy Pastels and Chinos

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
I've had such a busy few weeks, (seems to be a constant thing these days) so I'm in need of a chillout and the bank holiday couldn't come sooner! I've had lots of work going on but also some fun too... we had a surprise baby shower for my sister... yep that's right I'm so to be Auntie Annie!Candy Pastels and ChinosCandy Pastels and Chinos I've got a full week at work but really, really looking forward to chilling out over the bank holiday.  I think we are taking up our hall way carpet and insulating it so we can revamp the floorboards underneath... is it sad I'm rather excited about rug shopping afterwards?!  Candy Pastels and ChinosCandy Pastels and ChinosMy little garden is starting to thrive even though there is heaps and heaps to do.  We are organising a vegtable patch behind the garage but at the moment it really looks like it is something out the wild! I've got weeds teamed with random self setters... so my super cool job this bank holiday is to clear that and start planting my veggies!   Candy Pastels and ChinosCoat - F&F Cocoon Coat with Mohair Powder Blue - £60.00Jumper - Sugarhill Boutique Chunky Heart Knit Sweater Cream - £30.99Trousers - Next Neutral Chinos - £20.00Shoes - Primark Tan Peeptoe Flats - £8.00Bag - Fiorelli Agyness Tote - £65.00Sunglasses - Chloé sunglasses - £89.99Necklace - Miss Selfridge White Sike Drop Necklace - £8.50 Candy Pastels and ChinosCandy Pastels and Chinos I've managed to turn my soil and some of my plants have really shot off well, I'd started some sweetpeas from scratch and they are now starting to climb (finally).  As you can see my beautiful bleeding heart is now flashing some color too. Candy Pastels and ChinosCandy Pastels and ChinosCandy Pastels and ChinosAll this chat of gardens can only mean one thing... I've been outdoors!  The best place to be when spring is here and the sun is shining wouldn't you agree? Obviously in the UK it can still be a touch chilly so this is why I've selected my favorite Sugarhill Boutique Chunky Heart Knit Sweater, and instead of making it look too wintery I've used pastels to lighten it up. Candy Pastels and ChinosCandy Pastels and ChinosCandy Pastels and ChinosI decided instead of using my standard selection of floral trousers(!) I would instead feature my Next neutral chinos. They are a classic piece for your wardrobe and will work for the inbetween spring/summer days. I absolutely love my F&F Mohair Powder Blue Cocoon Coat, another perfect inbetween coat for the chilly mornings on your way to the shops or off to work.  Candy Pastels and ChinosI have a lovely lunch planned with Victoria from Vipxo on Saturday but I may be a bit lazy on Monday.... and have a lie in! Bacon sandwiches with a cuppa in the garden? Yes please!Candy Pastels and Chinosxoxo
