Plot: A man is determined to win the neighborhood’s annual Christmas decorating contest. He makes a pact with an elf to help him win–and the elf casts a spell that brings the 12 days of Christmas to life, which brings unexpected chaos to town.

Story: Candy Cane Lane starts when family man Chris Carver (Murphy) loses his job just before Christmas. However, his wife Carol (Ross) gets a big promotion and his eldest daughter Joy (Walton) is about to go to college. Chris wants to have one last family Christmas celebration before telling the children.
However, he gets the wild idea to join the wild competition to win a Christmas decoration competition which comes with a massive prize. While Chris wows the neighbourhood, the morning after has an interesting set of consequences. Now, Chris must complete a task to save his family and understand the meaning of Christmas.

Candy Cane Lane is a family comedy following a family who must put their differences aside over the Christmas period. It follows one of the family members getting themselves into trouble and the whole family coming together to save Christmas.
This is a wacky Christmas-themed Jumanji using the 12 Days of Christmas to bring characters to life. It follows the family needing to learn the importance of Christmas and being together as a unit. Eddie Murphy gets to shine in the family role becoming one of the best in recent years. You could bring the whole family together for this movie.
