Christian actress, Candace Cameron Bure, who stars on Netflix “Fuller House” and a bunch of movies on The Hallmark Channel shared during an Us Weekly Q&A session that she dislikes kissing other men on screen, and her husband doesn’t like it either.
“I’ll be honest, I’m like, I’m kind of over it in the sense that I don’t like that I keep kissing two different men! I’d like to stick with one guy,” the actress told Us Weekly, referring to her love triangle with actors Scott Weinger (Steve) and John Brotherton (Matt) in the popular Netflix series.
“Sometimes I’m doing my Hallmark movies and we’ve got a new guy in each movie. I’m getting more uncomfortable with it the older I’m getting. I‘m like, ‘I don’t want to keep doing this!'” Candace shared.
Candace went on to share that her husband, former Ice Hockey player, Valeri Bure doesn’t like it either.
“He actually doesn’t watch anything that I do for that very reason. Because it’s uncomfortable and I totally understand and respect it,” she explained. “He’s always held a position that, ‘I don’t want to ever tell you not to or stop you from your job,’ and all that, but he doesn’t want to watch and I respect that. And it’s the boundaries.”
Candace married Valeri in June 1996, and despite having a wonderful marriage, one that she feels proud to speak openly about, Cameron Bure said it hasn’t been “all roses.”
“There have been several tough years, in a row, ups and downs, bad attitudes and bad decisions, but we’ve persevered. We rode them out. We loved each other through them,” she reflected in a Facebook post last year.
