Canada Announces 2020 Biodiversity GoalsOTTAWA, Feb. 9, 2015 /CNW/ – Today, the Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Minister of the Environment, Minister of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency and Minister for the Arctic Council, announced Canada’s 2020 biodiversity goals and targets, which will guide further action on the conservation and sustainable use of living resources in Canada. These goals and targets were collaboratively developed by federal, provincial and territorial governments and benefited from input provided by Aboriginal organizations and stakeholders.  Source:
