Campanula peregrina, commonly known as Peregrinating Bellflower, is a deciduous herbaceous perennial with an upright habit. Campanula peregrina is native to the eastern Mediterranean region. In its native habitat it grows in woodlands and woodland edges on the lower slopes of mountains bordering the sea. Its mid to dark green leaves are elliptical in shape. Its blue flowers appear on terminal spikes are attractive to pollinating insects, including bees. Campanula peregrina may be used as part of a mixed herbaceous planting scheme.
