Meanwhile, Frank (Davison) and his son Dermot (Partridge) are battling for what is best for the town’s future.

Verdict on Camera

Camera is a drama following a young non-verbal boy adapting to life in a struggling fishing town. He befriends a kind repair shop owner who encourages his love of photography while learning more about the struggles the town is facing.

This movie shows the small town’s struggles and adapting to a new life there. It is mostly shown in the eyes of a non-verbal boy whose family has relocated, leading to him finding peace in the dysfunction. Away from his story, there is a lot more focus on the father/son battle for the best future for the town. It becomes a battle of generations and what people expect from their children. This gives us a nice glimpse into small-town America and how the smaller moments can overcome the daily struggles.

Final Thoughts Camera is a beautiful step into small-town America.
