Not being a flower person per se, I have to admit that gardens and live plants and flowers do make me stop and take pictures. Which is why living in Portugal makes me stop all the time, because there are flowers blooming the whole year. Case in point: camellias, which are more of a winter flower. It’s still a bit odd for me to see camellias and palm trees and Christmas fair rides all jumbled together in the Boavista rotunda these days.
