Calling For Writers #2

Oh hey, guess before the year is over I’m in need of some writers. Well, actually not too many this time though. And this has an actual restriction on here too, so that only makes it unfortunate, but gotta make things convenient sadly, so apologies in advance. Anyways, let’s not waste any more time here!

What I require

  • Manga Reviewer: You get to review manga on the site. This may be everything in print or digital.
  • Reliability: Main expectation is to have a review out at least once a week. From there it comes down to how often you can write (as in, you can write more than one review.)
  • Format: There’s also going to be a format to follow as well.

What I Don’t Require

  • Everything else on OASG: I pretty much worry about everything on the site, so…unless asked, your focus will only be on reviewing! You don’t need to know anything else.
  • Basic Blogging Knowledge: If you have blogged before, it would be a plus — but otherwise, if you have not blogged before, you will know how.
  • Your Manga Knowledge: Whether you’ve read 300 manga or maybe just read one last week, it doesn’t matter to me. Well, almost. But I’m mostly looking for good writers, and if you can prove you can write and be able to review manga weekly, it doesn’t matter your experience.

Let’s Make This Simple: How To Apply:

  1. Deadline: 12 /28/13. May extend if necessary.
  2. Subject line: Contact me via email (organizationasg at gmail dot com), and, to avoid somehow falling into the spam folder, have Manga Review Position as your subject line.
  3. Provide your name.
  4. A few reasons why you’d want to write for OASG.
  5. Share some manga you’re reading, doesn’t matter the method (print or digital).

The Restriction

This only applies to those who live in North America. I won’t consider applications from anywhere elsewhere. So also in your application just let me know you live in North America. Don’t need to know any more than that.

There’s a decent chance I’ll take one or two writers to review manga for me. Any more than that will probably be overkill. If you have any questions, let me know by the email address above/feel free to ask questions in the comment section. Otherwise, I wish everyone luck! Looking forward to your applications!
