Actually, TRAI is going to set up an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based filter to prevent fake calls, promotional calls and SMS, after which such calls can be curbed.
It has been claimed in many media reports that the number of fake calls and SMS along with online fraud has increased since the onset of Corona infection. In such a situation, many users have also faced problems. In such a situation, this decision of TRAI will give a sigh of relief to many people.
Instructions to telecom companies
According to media reports, TRAI has issued an order to telecom companies to use artificial intelligence spam filters on incoming calls and SMS service on their platform. With the help of this AI filter, customers will be able to ignore fake and promotional calls. Telecom companies Indian Airtel, Reliance Jio and VI have already announced that they will use AI filter soon.
