Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors. I adore her books! Pride & Prejudice is my all-time favorite movie. I watch it at least six times a year. In honor of the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen and her legendary novels, the Royal Mail in the UK are issuing a collection of stamps featuring the six iconic Jane Austen novels. I’m so in love with them! I was searching online to figure out how to purchase the stamps and was bummed to learn that they are only available to UK residents only. I had given up all hope on owning a set until…..my wonderful friend (Shaylor) who sent me a fb message letting me know that she had a friend in the UK who is willing to purchase a set of stamps for her and an extra set for myself. I’m beyond thrilled! This totally made my year!!! I have plans to frame them in a delicate frame and place them on my dining room table as an homage to Ms. Austen herself.
