The publisher Activision teases the next installment of its flagship franchise Call of Duty, which will take place in the Cold War. Failing to have for the moment real images of the game, it is with archive images that the title is announced.

The publisher's annual and oh-so-lucrative martingale Activision, the Call of Duty franchise will unfold its backdrop this year in the midst of the Cold War. Code name ? Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, developed by studios Raven and Treyarch. Who says Cold War logically says assassinations and other twisted blows on the part of the CIA, which should not be missing in this next installment of the video game franchise.

To see images of the game, you will have to wait for the publisher's Showcase, scheduled for August 26. The teaser is not uninteresting, since it consists of a montage of archive images from the period, with an intervention by the famous spy Yuri Bezmenov. Also known as Tomas David Schuman, he officially worked for the Russian News Agency Novosti, but he was actually employed by the KGB. He defected and moved to the West in February 1970, obtaining asylum in Canada. Bezmenov is best known for his anti-Communist and pro-American lectures and books in the 1980s, dismantling the Communist subversion at work in the West.
