Cake, & Dolly Parton's Apron Strings

So, I am an Epic Failure.

Dear People,
Anyone else notice that I completed a whopping seven out of 53 memoirs this last year? Yep, I am totally an Epic Failure.  When I sat down and plotted to do this feat (53 Memoirs in 2013) last year I figured it would be a piece of cake. I could not have been more incorrect.

A great deal of life happened, a great deal of excuses happened, and a great deal of underestimating my ability to continue to write regular epic posts happened.
Now that I have come clean, aired my dirty kitchen apron, and decided to 'cut the apron strings' (see Dolly's video for the reference),   I am recommitting to the project.

Picture As many are familiar with SMART goal setting - most will agree that goals need to be 'T'  time-bound. However with my inability to complete my last time-bound goal, I am throwing that practice out the window. Henceforth the site will be fondly called www.buffalobookreviews.weebly.com, eliminating the possibility to fall flat on my face again with a time-bound goal.
Yes, I am aware that there are other ways to fail a goal including S-M-A-R or what I call M-A-R-S  (I will leave that argument to the sexes). Since I am willing to fail again, I am re-attempting to blog 53 memoirs in a time-free frame. Bruce Bogtrotter's chocolate cake eating ability is the current state of my mental psyche. If you are a visual learner watch this fan favorite scene from 'Matilda':

When you see me about - feel free to ask me how the progress on the large-chocolate blood, sweet, and tears cake (aka 53 memoirs) is going. Feel free to cheer me on Bruce, Bruce, Bruce! Lastly, feel free to condemn me to the chokie for being an epic failure.
