BYOD usage will grow by 20% worldwide in 2016, whilst employees will have to provide their own devices for their jobs will increase to 50% by the year 2017.
According to Microsoft 67% of workers already use their own personal devices which could include a laptop or a computer. The workers who do use their own devices have shown that they become more productive at work and their efficiency has improved and is being driven throughout large organisations.
People enjoy using their own devices because they know exactly how to use the device therefore they get much more work done. Also some workplaces don’t even provide devices for their employees to work on therefore they have to bring their own.
