This chart is from a new Morning Consult Poll -- done on March 2nd and 3rd of a national sample of 961 likely Democratic primary voters, with a 4 point margin of error.
Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, and Tom Steyer have all suspended their presidential campaigns after the results came in from last Saturday's South Carolina primary. None of them got any delegates in that primary.
The question now is how that's going to affect the Democratic race for the nomination. Buttigieg and Klobuchar both have now endorsed Joe Biden. Will that help him?
It looks like the answer to that is yes. The last few Morning Consult polls have have Bernie Sanders leading the pack. But this new poll, done after Buttigieg and Klobuchar dropped out, show Biden now with an 8 point lead over Sanders (36% to 28%).
