Mawarala Police yesterday arrested a millionaire cinnamon businessman and two of his relatives on suspicion of murdering a servant in their house.
Police suspect the servant’s murder could be linked to the disappearance of two cows owned by the businessman. Police said a large house had been built in the Makadura Baragama Wadugedara area belonging to this businessman and the body of the employee was found in the swimming pool being built in the garden of that house.
“Although the body was left there as if it was an accident,” Police suspect it was a murder.
