Plot: A small group of Russian soldiers have the task of taking Hitler’s discovered remains back to Stalin in Moscow.

Story: Burial starts as Brana Vasilyeva (Vega) is assigned to lead a group of Russian soldiers out of Berlin with Hitler’s body, taking it back to Moscow. As the unit is on its mission, they become separated, finding themselves under attack from German soldiers who are still fighting the war.
To make matters worst, they find themselves under attack from creatures who want Hitler’s body. It is left to see if the soldiers can complete their mission or not.
Verdict on Burial
Burial is a thriller that follows a group of soldiers that have been assigned to transport Hitler’s body to Russia. The only things don’t go to plan, as the soldiers from all sides want to keep the war going.
This teases some horror involvement, without getting into any. Focusing more on the battle for the body, which sees different sides having their claim to it. It gives us a look at the different people who have suffered throughout the war, and who want the right thing done to the evil mastermind.
Sadly, not enough is done to give us the investment in the characters we follow, with only Brana showing any emotional stake in the journey. The performance from Charlotte Vega is the best of the cast because when it comes to the soldiers, they all seem to be similar in character design.

Final Thoughts – Burial is a simple war thriller, that only teases any horror involvement.
