Bulgari Releases an NFT of Its Unique Wristwatch

Posted on the 28 March 2022 by Nftnewspro

The Italian luxury brand Bulgari will announce an NFT of their exclusive watch. The fabulous watch integrates the pinnacle of physical art with a digital certificate of ownership.

The recent Bulgary watch is a world record holder because at the time of writing it is the thinnest mechanical manual-wind watch in the world. The whole thickness of the watch frame is only 1.8 mm, a mechanical masterpiece.

This luxury brand spent three years making this watch. They used the finest sandblasted titanium and tungsten carbide to make this masterpiece. This represents the culmination of the tenth anniversary of the Bulgari’s Octo Finissimo series.

The watch is an example of numerous innovations as well. At the largest gear of the watch, owners find a QR code. When they scan it, it takes them to an NFT artwork, which works to authenticate the watch as well.

Besides, they can see all the related details. You can enter its history, concept, design and manufacturing process. There is even a three-D virtual journey inside the mechanical motion.

“The amazing benchmark we set today with the Octo Finissimo Ultra is actually a seemingly impossible dream for me and all the teams that has come true,” said Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.

“One that guarantees that Bulgari will forever be known as a company which has written some of the best pages in Swiss watchmaking. And the reality that this is an Italian house makes us glad.

There are only ten limited-editions of the Octo Finissimo Ultra. You can have one for 400,000 euros (about $440,000).

This luxurious watch has a Bulgari history and also shows how we can use NFTs to timeless parts.
