Cabinet approval has been granted for developing the buildings of main railway stations which are situated in the proximity of the Colombo City.
It has been recognized at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on 06.11.2023 that there is a probability of developing the buildings within which the railway stations of Wellawatte. Bambalapitiya, Kollpitiya and Slave Island are situated in the proximity of Colombo city as commercial centres.
