Wow. Wow. Wow.
This was my favorite issue of a buffy comic so far. It was exciting, touching, and depressing! What happened to Buffy!?
I’ve never been a huge fan of Dawn. I don’t hate her like a lot of fans, but I don’t love her either. This plot of her disappearing is one I’m totally fine with happening. In all honesty I think its the best way to end the character. She will slowly fade away and all memories of her and her existence will be gone. It would be an interesting thing to continue with moving forward with past plot points like Glory and most of season 5. How would that look minus Dawn? So with all that said the possibility of losing her is not were the suspense is coming for me. Its coming from how this venture to stop her from vanishing will turn out. With Xander’s betrayal and Willow and Buffy beginning to bury the hatchet this end has turned out way better than I had thought. I’m excited to see where the relationship of Buffy, Xander and Willow will go after this is settled…assuming they are all left. I miss the good ole days when they were all close. I miss the Buffy and Willow scenes that felt so real. I miss their friendship. In the past couple issues we have gotten glimmers of hope it may return. My fear is it’s too late.
I can’t wait for next issue!!
5/5
