Students take over Buchanan Galleries
Buchanan Galleries Student Takeover returns for another year with an evening of fun, freebies and fantastic discounts on Friday 26 September.
Now in its fourth year, the Student Takeover will be bigger and better than ever before with over 50 stores offering exclusive discounts of up to 30% for one night only.
The Student Takeover will run from 7:30pm until 10pm giving students plenty of time to shop the night away and enjoy the range of entertainment on offer.
This year, there will be plenty of cocktails and drinks to keep everyone refreshed mid- shopping spree available from Student Recommended’s pop up bar and the newly launched 360 Champagne & Cocktail Bar. Shot brand Sourz will also be on site pouring up various flavours from apple to tropical for students to try.
Resident Student Recommended DJs will be spinning out tunes alongside top radio presenters Garry Spence and Callum Gallacher from Capital Radio. Gaming fanatics can battle it out in The Entertainer NERF blaster competition and there will also be plenty of competitions with fabulous prizes running on the night. One lucky student will even walk away with a £250 Buchanan Galleries gift card.
The Student Takeover is the perfect night to kick off first term for freshers and post-grads alike and this year is set to attract thousands of students looking for a bargain. Friends can make memories at the Snap Happy photo booth and capture a few shots that are sure to be Facebook worthy.
Those wanting to continue the party are invited to the official after party at Hummingbird on Bath Street from 10pm where its resident DJ will be spinning house music until 3am. There will be tasty Hummingbird cocktails available from £3.25, drinks from £2, and free cloakroom for all of your newly bought goodies! There will also be karaoke booths to book on the night.
