BSNL is installing 1 lakh 4G towers
The Union Minister said that BSNL will install 1 lakh 4G towers by next December. BSNL will speed up the installation of towers from this month. All efforts are being made by the organization to meet the targets. They have already completed the installation of 25,000 towers. For this the company is working in joint venture with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
What is the plan of BSNL
BSNL had earlier said that 75,000 sites would be completed by Diwali 2024. However, that seems unlikely now. Because it is known that 25 thousand 4G towers have been installed for now. He said there is still 50,000 towers to be installed. However, the company wants to complete the installation of the tower within this year.

BSNL will offer 4G services using fully Indian technology
Jio, Airtel have already launched 5G services in India. Meanwhile, Vi is trying to rollout 5G. All three companies are using foreign telecom gear and other technologies for this. But BSNL will be the first telecom company to offer 4G and later 5G services using fully indigenous technology.
