This story has three different endings. Each of the three stories have the same beginning but a different point of view in each scenarios.
The bruised knuckles surprised everyone. People were sympathetic. Dry skin does look really painful, he says. And this happening to the nicest guy in the team – the one who is always smiling and nice to everyone. That created an additional impact to everyone. Suggestions for a good hand lotion, ice packs etc. kept coming to him. He just smiled and listened to everyone, even tried on some products that were thrust into his hands. Everyone around were discussing him.
Somewhere in the back alleys, someone else was talking of him too. Someone who was on the verge of dying. Someone with a bruised body, broken teeth, split lips and two black bloodied eyes. Someone who’s internal injuries far exceeded the external one. Someone who was mercilessly beaten up in an underground boxing match. “If only his colleagues knew,” he said with his dying breath, “that the kind and smiling face hid a very dark, ruthless monster.”
