While spending a couple of days in Amsterdam I came across some beers from the Brouwerij ‘tIj in a bar near my hotel. I tried the Columbus, a Belgium style triple. I was not over keen on it. It started well on the palate, but in the finish it was a little bitter for my tastes. The Zatte was a very good German style wheat beer and one I would try again.
I only had two days in Amsterdam, so regrettably I did not have time to visit the brewery. Maybe next time.
