I guess some may say they saw this coming but it’s never real until it actually happens. Urlacher was one of the best middle linebackers in the game for a long time and it’s a shame to see him go. He could probably still do it but as he said on the Dan Patrick Show today, his body is telling him it’s over. Congrats on a great career Brian. He’ll make his way to Canton and the NFL Hall of Fame soon. For now he joins a host of great Bears linebackers who have put the helmet and shoulder pads away.
