Brian D’Addario (The Lemon Twigs) has shared ‘Till the Morning’, the title track from his forthcoming debut album, which will be released on 20 March.
Described by Brian as ‘a love song having to do with those fleeting moments when you grasp something real, amidst all the noise and propaganda’, it’s a track that is maybe more in thrall to legends of the ‘60s like George Harrison and early Bob Dylan than the breezy ‘70s pop of his day job, but it’s still beautiful.
Effortlessly catchy, romantic (‘Your lips they surround me in a halo of dreams’) and ultimately heartbreaking – ‘Are we left crippled in our mourning?’ – it’s a marvellously melodic and melancholic pop song.
