I first came across beauty of Breguet Timepieces on our Tumblr feed and was soon to discover the rich history and cultural heritage that is engrained in every watch they make. If they look spectacular it is because its founder from Paris, A.-L. Breguet (1747-1823) set the standard by which all fine watchmaking has since been judged. It t’was in fact him, in 1810, he conceived the world’s very first wristwatch for Caroline Murat, queen of Naples.
