Two letter .com domain names are pretty rare with only 676 of them, but two letter words are even more rare when it comes to domain names and We.com is one of them! It has just been SOLD according to whois records. The domain has went into transfer service at Sedo, so it either sold at Sedo or is using Sedo escrow.
The domain name was owed by Alf Temme of North Hollywood, CA and has been owned since October 3, 2006.
The domain We.com has just went into transfer service at Sedo.com so the buyers are currently unknown.
The domain name was listed for sale on DomainNameSales.com at the time of changing ownership, so the deal either took place via Sedo or the buyers or sellers are using Sedo escrow services.
TheDomains did an article on Alf in 2010 when he was sued by Microsoft for $2.4 Million dollars for Hotmail typo domains.
DomainInvesting.com also reported a UDRP filed on We.com as Elliott reported in April 2014, with the UDRP being terminated.
The sales price of We.com is currently unknown, simply because the sale just took place. It will be interesting to see if the price is made public or who the buyers are.

We.com has been registered since March 31, 1992. Minimum wholesale lately on 2 letter .com domain names has been around $500,000 and the highest reported two letter .com domain name sale is FB.com which Facebook acquired for a reported $8.5 million. IG.com sold for $4.7 Million in 2013. YP.com for $3.85 Million in November 2008, MI.com for $3.6 Million in April 2014 and MM.com selling in July 2014 for $1.2 Million (which seems to be a pretty good deal for a repeating 2 letter .com IMO)
If.com sold in February 2003 for $1 Million. So the likely hood of this being a seven figure domain name sale are very high IMO.
