While spending a few days in Hannover, Germany, I paid a visit to Brauhaus Ernst August. It is a large modern building in the centre of the city. And that’s about all it has got going for it. I tried the Mai Bock and the Bio-Weizen. Both beers lacked any real quality. The Bock just had hint of malt and the Weizen a touch of citrus. Go for the food, but give the beer a miss.
