Foret Blanche is another of Brasserie Dupont‘s excellent beers. Foret, as a labeled in the US, is part of their organic line of beers. In Belgium, they label this beer as Blanche Du Hainaut Bio. Created in 1999, this Belgian Wit/Blanche is Dupont’s interpretation of on a white wheat ale.
Foret Blanche is brewed with unmalted wheat, malted barley and the traditional blanche biere spices of Coriander and orange peel. What makes this unique is Dupont’s house strain of yeast which adds a whole new level of depth and complexity to this beer.
Appearance: Hazy pale straw blonde, white head, solid retention.
Aroma: Earthy, yeasty, touches of coriander, bright citrus/orange notes, light funk notes, “Saison” aroma.
Taste: earthy, funky, mild sweetness, light wheat crispness/graininess. Lightly tart.

Availability: Imported by Vanberg & Dewulf, look for it where you see Saison Dupont and if your favorite store doesn’t carry it, ask them to!
5.5% ABV
