This marriage is considered to be the best marriage, because in this marriage the parents of the girl find such a groom for their daughter, who is fit, well-mannered, and of the same Varna as the daughter of which Varna belongs to. For example, if the girl and her parents belong to the Brahmin class, then the groom should also belong to the Brahmin class. In this marriage, the parents of both the bride and the groom take special care of the gotra, tradition and dignity. According to this marriage, the father of the girl solemnly donates his daughter to a suitable groom for marriage.
