NBC has ordered a church choir comedy pilot starring Bradley Whitford.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy revolves around a rural church choir who gets the director it never thought it needed when a salty, Ivy League music professor (Whitford) stumbles through their door.
This marks a homecoming for Whitford, who starred in the network’s drama “The West Wing” from 1999-2006. He also won an Emmy for his work on the show in 2001, according to Variety.
