BPI Big Outlet Sale 2013 @ Metrotent (Metrowalk Ortigas Center)

Went to the BPI Big Outlet Sale earlier today. I expected to do some early Christmas gift shopping for my family and friends… but went home only with a few items. For myself! Woops. I didn’t like the selection this year compared to past BPI Big Outlet sales, that’s why. Anyway, here’s what I got!

A new pair of jeans. Finally! I’ve been putting off buying a new pair of jeans thinking I’ll lose a few more pounds (hahaha hindi naman masama mangarap na sana umabot akong size 25, chos). But I’ve been struggling keeping it off lately and so I’m stuck with size 28 for now. But hey, from size 31 to 28 — that’s a big decrease already! I should be happy! My friends chose this for me and I trust their good taste, hahaha! I got this Petrol denim straight cut jeans for only Php700 (from Php1400). I also love the fabric! 

And then we went around and checked the other booths. I noticed only a few makeup brands available. If I remember it correctly only In2it, Cover Girl, Maxx Factor, and Suesh were there. I want a new concealer and both Cover Girl and Maxx Factor don’t have stocks there. WHY! :( Also, I didn’t like the clothes or shoes the few fashion brands available were selling.

So. To make up for the disappointing shopping experience, I bought the following sweet treats instead. 

Biscoff Spread - discounted at 2 for Php700 (1 for Php399)! I like that the seller was offering free taste! No surprise disappointment if in case you bought it and went home and tasted it then you didn’t like it naman pala (sayang diba kasi mahalia fuentes sya ha!). Well luckily, I loved it the first time I tasted it earlier so I bought the two variants — Creamy and Crunchy — straight away! I liked Biscoff Spread better than Trader’s Joe Speculoos Cookie Butter Spread. Hindi nakakaumay yung tamis level, sakto lang!

Also in the same booth (I forgot the name of the shop, basta nasa may entrance yung location nya) is this sinful Chewy Chips Ahoy with Reese’s bits (Php295). Medyo nakalimutan ko bigla na kailangan ko pa nga pala magpapayat ulit, pero sige lang, napablili pa rin ako nito! Haha! And you know what’s more sinful? Topping this with the Biscoff Spread, which my friends and I did exactly! Oh.my.god. Sarap to the next level!

And we didn’t stop our pigout session there (well actually since lunch kain lang kami ng kain ng kain haha). They went to my place and we ordered pizza and mojos and chicken from Shakey’s for dinner! So help me God. I will not eat for the rest of the long weekend. Naaaat.
