Anzor Tsarnaev (the Tsarnaev brothers' father who lives in Russia) told the Los Angeles Times in a telephone interview he did not believe that his sons Tamerlan and Dzhokhar had anything to do with the fatal attack in their adopted home town and had been singled out because of their Muslim faith. "It is a provocation of the special services who went after them because my sons are Muslims and don't have anyone in America to protect them." China Earthquake: Dozens Killed, 600 Injured
At least 56 people are believed to have been killled and over 600 injured after an earthquake struck China's southwestern province of Sichuan.
Chinese news agency Xinhua said the quake, measured at varying magnitudes between 6.6 and 7.0, struck at 8.02am local time close to the city of Ya'an in Lushan county and the epicentre had a depth of eight miles (13km).
It set off landslides and destroyed buildings, and triggered a major rescue operation involving 2,000 troops. [source SKYNEWS]
