Boston Marathon Aftermath

sadly, it turns out someone i know spent marathon day evening in the hospital with two friends who were injured by the bombs. one, severely.  she lost a leg.  my friend mary forwarded this link to her recovery fund.
though less than 200 were wounded by the bombs in a city of half a million, it's strange- so many people have just small degrees of separation from those who were hurt.
