Straight chills on this one. No reason to even lie, that was the shit. A city totally in love with a guy who stayed strong for 15 years through ups and downs and eventually brought the NBA Championship back to Boston in 2008. I could talk about how much he’s meant to the Celtics, but everyone already knows that. Just know that when the Celtics drafted this kid back in the day I was so pumped. I loved him at Kansas and was thrilled when the C’s got him in the draft. The rest is history. Thanks to Paul for giving us a decade and a half of tremendous heart and skill.
