Bose Festivals: Glasgow Summer Sessions. 2014 is the year that I decided to say "yes!" to more opportunities, push myself to be a little more and to explore new avenues. With that in mind, 2014 is also the year that I finally caved to festival fever and last week I headed along to Glasgow Summer Sessions with Bose, who are festival hopping this summer with their Yozilla headphones.
Glasgow Summer Sessions was unlike anything I've ever experienced. David Guetta was headlining and I didn't know what to expect from a day of DJ sets, but despite that, the crowd went insane all day. Glaswegians are so friendly and welcoming - from a gal who is more accustomed to London and hometown life! Even with extreme rain and wind, it was the perfect atmosphere for the competition that Bose are running alongside their #ListenForYourself campaign.
Bose's Yozilla headphones are a new on-ear headphone - they're ideal for a stylish on-the-go wear and are made with soft foam making them really comfy. While they're not as en pointe as their classic over-ears, they give a good sound and I really like them for running and at-home wear. Plus check dat color tho.
To celebrate the launch of the Bose Yozilla headphones, we invited festival-goers to Tweet us their best fashionable festival selfies to be edited and featured on the Bose advert. GSS was the ideal place and platform to convince festival-goers to snap and send photos to us and we received some amazing photos. It was so fun and kinda surreal to judge and select the winners, and then watch the advert unveiling before David Guetta's set. (Sidenote: David Guetta's set was amazing.)
