I'd had my Friday evening planned to sit in the warmth and watch Gossip Girl but my boyfriend suggested we went out for a catch up. I wasn't going to disagree as we never get to see each other, my issue was what to wear? What do you wear for a nice drink on an extremely cold evening? The fight with the wardrobe was always going to be on the cards... and it left my spare room in a complete mess....you'll be pleased to know I did win by putting a simple outfit together.
I'm only 5ft4 so if I'm heading out in the evening I always like to have a bit of height. Before I left the house on this occasion I was in a complete battle with what footwear to go for, if I wore standard heels my feet would freeze, and my knee high boots were a bit too high. For my evening of a cheeky drink with my boy, I went for a warm, casual look and these boots totally worked it. They have been the best new (bargain!) addition to my AW12 wardrobe...
