Synopsis

When Leo unexpectedly bumps into the captivating Riley at the airport, he’s both amused and intrigued by her assumption that he’s his renowned brother. Embracing his mischievous side, Leo decides to play along, relishing in their flirty banter and clever exchanges.

But as fate would have it, their flight gets canceled, and Leo seizes the opportunity to spend more time with Riley. With a devilish glint in his eye, he invites her to spend the night at his penthouse. With an intriguing woman, his best friend Jace, and a whole night of possibilities ahead of them, Leo has all the ingredients for what promises to be a memorable Christmas Eve.

In “Trick Shot,” a spicy MMF Christmas novella, Leo, Riley, and Jace embark on a passionate and unconventional romance that challenges societal norms. As they navigate their desires and explore the boundaries of their connection, they discover that love knows no bounds, especially during the enchanting holiday season.

My Thoughts

Kayla Grosse is making sure if there is any snow that it will melt right away when you read her latest novella, ‘Trick Shot’.  Kayla is not new to the spice in her books, but I have to say that with this Novella she kicks the spice up so much you will feel like it’s a kick to the face.

Now I have to say if you are not into Male/Male you may not want to pick up this book as there is a little bit of that and a bunch more sexiness that happens throughout the story. And if you are closed-minded, this isn’t the book for you. I will say that these types of books are ones I never read but I was a huge fan of Kayla’s previous books, so I wanted to give this book a shot.  There were moments where I knew this wasn’t my thing, but Kayla did such an amazing job writing the book that those moments were short and there weren’t that many of them.  These moments may not be something I normally read but they really did help make the story and help level up that spice level to the highest it could be.

The thing I love about Kayla’s books and something she was also able to do in ‘Trick Shot’ is reflecting people of all shapes, sizes, and colors.  They are so well written it’s nice to see a different type of cast of people on the paper.  Plus seeing a girl who is not a size two be confident and get what she wants is so great to see.

Now ‘Trick Shot’ spice level is a five and trust me when I say don’t read this by the fire alarm because it will set it off.  This book is done so well and being something, I don’t normally read I really enjoyed it.  For the star rating, it’s a solid four stars.  I recommend this book for that quick holiday read and if you’re having a super cold night.

This book is now released and if you are a Kindle Unlimited member you are lucky enough to have this included in your membership.  Head over to Amazon today to pick up your copy and to keep up on all of Kayla’s latest releases and more head over to her website.

**I would like to thank Kayla Grosse for the ARC copy of this book. Getting the ARC Copy did not influence my thoughts on the book as they are all my own.**
