1/2Synopsis
I’ve always believed love is nothing more than good timing.
That it’s just two people who happen to get along deciding this is probably as good as it gets.
Until Zeke Morgan.
He walks me home from the yoga classes I take like candy. He encourages me to chase my dreams of opening my own studio. He’s gentle with me when I tell him past experiences make me hesitant about getting physical.
But as he helps me achieve my dream, I become the downfall of his.
He’s spent almost a decade building his web design business, but when everything I’ve worked for is threatened, he doesn’t hesitate to put me first.
And I can’t help but feel like the girl from his past who wanted him to live a different life for the sake of her checklist. The one who forced him to choose between her and his dreams.
He used to think love wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be, but he’s fallen hard. For me.
So when my world comes crashing down around me the same week he has to leave for a big project, I do the only thing I can to protect myself.
I pretend I’m okay. I push him away. Insist that I’m fine.
Because the only thing worse than accepting defeat is becoming his, too.
My Thoughts
‘Namaste and Code All Day’ is the second book to the Love and City Lights series by Ally Williams. I read the first book of this series and I was glad to see she continued it with someone we met in the first book, ‘Things We’ve Lost and Found’.
Ally Williams was able to yet again build these characters to really make you feel like you know them and if they are feeling pain you feel the same pain. To be able to write like that is very rare and you don’t find it nowadays. The character growth she has as well in this book is just amazing. You are rooting for these two from the start and there is something that makes you want this story to have a happy ending. I will tell you that there is a happy ending you will not be disappointed.
I am giving ‘Namaste and Code All Day’ a solid 4 ½ stars. From the story to the writing this hits everything I am looking for in a book and it’s very easy for me to recommend picking up this book. ‘Namaste and Code All Day’ isn’t lacking with the spice either. Ally was able to put spice in here to give it a Spice Level of 3.
I recommend over this Holiday week/weekend you pick up this book and read it. You will not be disappointed and if you are a Kindle Unlimited member this book is part of your membership.
**I would like to thank Ally Williams for the ARC copy of this book. Getting the ARC Copy did not influence my thoughts on the book as they are all my own.**
