My Thoughts
It’s the time of the year where I start to read books that match the holiday or season. Tonya Kappes new book ‘Macchiato Murder’ was just released and perfect timing. This book is book 13 of the A Killer Coffee Mystery series she has going, and the book is a full-on Halloween theme type book. From pumpkins to hayrides this Halloween isn’t going to be a breeze. Roxanne has another murder she is going to help slove.
What’s great about this series is the coffee theme but also the small town feel where everyone knows everyone and the drama with the small town is real. Everyone has secrets and Roxanne makes sure to dig them all out.
This book will have you jumping from that person to that person trying to figure out who done it. But leading up to the murder or mystery is always fun as well. While I’m starting the book, I am always thinking how is this mystery or murder going to happen? The rollercoaster of the mystery that Tonya puts you on is nothing but the best like normal.
‘Macchiato Murder’ is a sold four-star cozy mystery read that you will love from start to finish and really helps put you in that autumn/Halloween vibe. I know this one will be on my autumn/Halloween read for years to come and I know you’re going to love it as well.
