Insanity (Mad in Wonderland) is a brilliant book. I love Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. I also love different versions of the stories. Insanity (Mad in Wonderland) reminds me of the videogames, American McGee's Alice and Alice: The Madness Returns. I loved Jace's version of Wonderland and the way he incorporated all of the familiar elements (the White Queen, the Red Queen, the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar and the playing cards that are alive to name but a few). I loved the idea behind Insanity (Mad in Wonderland), that Lewis Carroll wrote his famous book to trap monsters and stop them from harming us. The pace of the novel is perfect and thanks to the quite short chapters I could read the novel in small chunks. The characters are as brilliant and twisted as you'd expect from Alice in Wonderland. I literary couldn't stop reading this brilliant novel. I can't wait to read the other two books in the series. I'd highly recommend Insanity (Mad in Wonderland) to fans of Wonderland.
