Review:
Unlike the previous book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, this time, it started with Harry’s POV and my excitement just keeps on pouring out of my eyes and my mouth haha, so exag! Just like the previous books in this series, this story is so easy to read because all were properly explained and you can still understand the whole story even without having to read the previous books (but I wouldn’t recommend such). There’s some few new words ofcourse that I need to consult my dictionary for its meaning, but so far, it didn’t destroy my reading experience.
I don’t have any scenes or lines that I find questionable at all and I didn’t meet some flaws. The reason why I am giving this story a 4-stars rating was because I was so so so annoyed with how Harry acts. I mean, in this book, he easily get irritated and always find himself in trouble, which was doubled from its previous books because of his temper. It’s understandable ofcourse because he just encountered Voldemort in his true body, but reading it in almost all the chapters in this book isn’t that enjoyable at all.
And yep, just as expected, Harry Potter’s adventure is getting more dangerous and more thrilling than its previous books. While I keep reading this story, I’ve quite remember some scenes from the movie that’s why I can’t really contain my excitement. The wonder trio is still rocking the adventure with the addition of some new and familiar characters to the gang. Also, I can’t help but be amazed with Ron and (especially) Hermione’s understanding for Harry’s ballistic temper. There’s some new characters named in this story too that I find it quite hard to read and ofcourse, remember haha. But so far, all of them are so easy to keep track. And speaking of characters, I really really really admire Mrs. Weasley. Yep, she can be annoying sometimes because of her too motherly trait and her overprotectiveness but I love the fact that she considers Harry like her own son and takes good care of him, and that’s really so touching. And ofcourse, my admiration for the Weasly twins is still there and I think it intensified with every books from the series that I’ve come to read. I just realized how troublesome they are after reading this book and I can’t help but giggle lol. Mr. Weasley ofcourse will never fail you too because he’s quite of funny sometimes especially when he gets to discover some new things muggles uses, like the felly tone haha. Those who have read the book or watched the movie can relate lol. I still can’t get over with the word please man too lol.
And oh, I almost forgot, haha. Halfway through this story, we’ve got to read about Harry’s lovelife. And a little introduction to Ginny’s lovelife too and I can’t help but giggle with Ron’s big brother approach haha. After what I read and noticed from the 4th book, I also expected that Ron and Hermione would finally take their relationship to the next level, but to my dismay, it’s wasn’t! Oh well, I’m sure we’re almost there since both of their jealousies started to get more noticeable haha.
This book could have been amazing until I came to its last few pages. Huhu, I didn’t really expected that. Want to get some hints? Well, one character that is close to Harry will die. Huhu. But atleast, this time, all my questions about why Voldemort killed Harry’s parents and tried to kill him when he was a baby. And why Dumbledore wants Harry to live with his Aunt. Dang! It really pays off when you’re patient haha.
Overall, this story is a great read just like its predecessor and I can’t really wait to read the remaining two books. Yay!
