WHAT I THOUGHT
Glitch is a decent science fiction story. There isn't anything new or original in the story and similar plots have been used over and over. What makes this story stand out is Hugh Howey's writing style. I've enjoyed his style very much since I read his Silo series last year. Considering how short Glitch is, Howey manages to develop well-written characters and creates a sense of place. I've never read any of Asimov's work but I've seen movies based on it such as I, Robot and it's clear to see how these influenced Hugh Howey in this instance. I would have enjoyed a few hundred pages more of Glitch.
