BLURB FROM THE COVER

Memories define us.

So what if you lost yours every time you went to sleep? Your name, your identity, your past, even the people you love – all forgotten overnight. And the one person you trust may only be telling you half the story.

Welcome to Christine’s life.

EXTRACT

The bedroom is strange. Unfamiliar. I don’t know where I am, how I came to be here. I don’t know how I’m going to get home.

REVIEW

I thought Before I Go To Sleep was great. I had a good time with this novel. I loved the concept behind Before I Go To Sleep and thought the idea of waking up every day with virtually no memory fascinating. The concept sort of reminded me of the movie Fifty First Dates (a really good movie even though I loathe whatever his name is that’s in it and Drew Barrymore hasn’t held my attention since ET) and was intrigued about how Watson would turn Christine’s amnesia into a thriller. I thought it was great to write Before I Go To Sleep in the first person from Christine’s point of view, what a great way to get inside her head as she tries to put the pieces of her life back together. Before I Go To Sleep is well written, interesting, with great characters and held my attention from start to finish. Watson introduces a really huge twist in the last few chapters. I usually hate twists because they can be poorly executed. The unexpected turn of events towards the end of Before I Go To Sleep made my jaw hit the floor. Brilliantly done. Before I Go To Sleep is a great thriller. One to read if you want something a bit different.
