British fashion company will be the first NFT Boohoo series, a free one, on the Polygon blockchain, for all customers. To be clear, this happens when they start introducing their two-phase into the NFT and metaverse space.
The initial phase of the brand’s launch involves the release of their NFT education platform called @boohooverse on Twitter. Boohoo held a global competition to support the second phase of their inception to empower novice female artists and ensure that the digital world becomes a more inclusive and representative space.
The competition attracted 3-5 artists in the NFT space. From April 10, boohoo’s audiences can get their initial NFT from the company for free. They can claim their free NFT online via the boohoo website.
This NFT is an access card, that allows access to Amy Kilner’s digital artwork. In addition, early access to the two company’s phase movements, plus special offers and discounts.
This is the first NFT series to be launched on the Polygon blockchain, meaning that buyers will not have to pay an extremely gas fee as ETH. Boohoo has selected this platform for its smaller environmental effects. Polygon acts on a proof-stake mechanism compared to ETH’s proof-of-work system.
