Unveiled at Kickstarter, the Bongo comes with all-bamboo shell and speaker cloths made of 100% natural hemp. Its maker says it can go head to head with any portable speaker on the market, given it’s equipped with APT-X audio decompression software, 1.5” drivers utilizing Rare Earth Magnets and Dual 1.75” Passive bass radiators. Available in eight different bamboo and speaker cloth color versions, the Bongo speaker comes with a built-in battery that provides you with up to 8 hours of playback, while its Bluetooth connectivity is followed by two other cable-based options including 3.5 mm jack and a 5-pin micro USB port.
