@ Chitose International Airport, Japan
February 2018
When on international travel, I enjoy photographing carriers, aircraft and liveries not seen here at home. Case in point is this ANA Wings aircraft departing Chitose on a regional flight. ANA Wings is a regional airline and wholly owned subsidiary of All Nippon Airways, operating 24 of these turboprop aircraft in their fleet. First flown in 1983, this aircraft was a product of de Havilland Canada with the designation DHC-8. With more than 1,200 Q-series delivered, the Q400 is the current production version.
