One of Google’s business jets departs Moffett Field.  Google signed a $1.16 billion, 60-year lease deal it signed with NASA in 2015 to manage the 1,000-acre site with plans to repurpose its three airship hangars. The company also manages the airfield’s two runways and well as storing their aircraft fleet on base.  First flown in 1978, close to 1,100 Challenger 600 Series aircraft have been delivered.  The Challenger stood out from other bizjets at the time with a wide-body design that allows a “walk-about cabin” along with the use of a supercritical wing.  Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
