Boho Wedding with White Flowers in Santorini | Jenny & James

By Eleni Balkouli @Love4Wed

Overlooking the Mediterranean, this unique winery in Thira was the perfect setting for a boho wedding filled with white flowers. The beautiful bride chose to keep everything simple, so she was wearing a pretty and floaty wedding dress that makes her look like a fairy. The flower wreath in her hair was enough to enhance the look and complete her boho style. The couple exchanged vows in front of a gorgeous arch decorated with tulle and white, fresh flowers… Check out the following photos and feel completely transported to the dreamy location! Captured beautifully by Nikos Gogas!

“We met through James being a friend of my brothers and he secretly asked for my number back in 2005 then when we were back packing for 6 months in Australia (2011) we climbed Sydney harbor bridge and James got down on one knee and popped the question”, the bride shared with us

“The ceremony took place at Venetsanos winery in Thira and the reception at Fabrica, Anemos Beach Lounge. The colors of our wedding were white, neutral / natural and soft gray. We swayed towards a boho theme.”

“My wedding dress was a Grace Loves Lace dress (Hollie). White lace and chiffon panels with a train at the back and short at the front. All very floaty… pretty and simple – made me feel like a little fairy.”

“My bouquet was white roses and gypsophelia – which was actually made in the uk with silk flowers by my mom. She used to be a florist and I wanted her to have a big part in the wedding as she’s very artistic.”

“Best moment was seeing James face walking down the aisle. Also sitting back and watching all family and friends having such a good time together.”

“The wedding decoration again was all made by my mum, just simple bunches of white gypsophelia tied with twine and we used old coffee jars all different sizes as vases. Which all our guests brought out with them on the flight for ya.”

“We also had a fresh flower arch made by Betty Flowers which was stunning – it was knocked over during the ceremony which gave us all a giggle. Most of my inspiration was found on Instagram.”

“Best advice to bride-to-be would be that everything works out fine in the end and all the little things you think are important really don’t matter on the day once everyone’s together having the best time.”
