Boeing VC-25 (747-200) Air Force One

By Htam

SFO, Air Force One,

@San Francisco International Airport, San Francisco, CA

February 2015

This was my first attempt to capture images of Air Force One departing SFO after a Presidential visit, plus my first use of my new D7100.  Most times AF1 departs during a workday or after dark, so a weekend morning takeoff was a great opportunity.  This is one of two modified Boeing 747s are designated VC-25A by the USAF, highly modified versions of Boeing’s 747-200B.  Air Force One is the call sign of any U.S. Air Force aircraft carrying the President of the United States.  Nikon D7100 w/80-400mm, processing with Aperture.
